Standard Library

Source boundary: This page summarizes the Edition 1 documentation shipped with nebo-v1.1.0. It is a reading guide, not a fresh execution test or a compatibility guarantee for your compiler.

The standard-library documentation describes families with different inputs, lifetimes and environmental requirements. An implementation symbol or test fixture is not automatically a public API.

  • Console and I/O explains the observed graphical hello output and bounded file recipes.
  • System and data points to explicit paths, bounded JSON and duration conversion.
  • Math and science separates scalar examples from experimental scientific modules.

A recipe can require an import, a caller-owned working directory, input bytes, an allocation bound or a display environment. Its expected exit status may deliberately be nonzero. Keep those conditions when comparing observations.

The public file recipe explicitly separates importing filesystem names from permission to access files. A declaration is not a capability grant.

For versioned details, begin with the 1.1.0 documentation tree. The v1.0 directory describes the language edition and does not mean that every file belongs to compiler release 1.0.0.
