First Program
The recorded source
Section titled “The recorded source”Save the following as hello.no, using four spaces before the string and a final newline. The resulting UTF-8 file is 46 bytes.
start() { "Hello from Nebo!".console();}start() is the entry form used in this example. The text literal is followed by .console();. The observed display was a native Console window, rather than a promise of terminal stdout.

These digests identify historical local inputs. They are not checksums advertised for the current public download. Release artifact identity does not establish how the compiler binary was built from source.
Observed result
Section titled “Observed result”The recorded check and build passed. Running the executable opened a nonblank native Console window with Hello from Nebo!; closing the window produced a clean exit. Repeated Assembly and executable outputs were byte-identical within that recorded test.
If your compiler or environment differs, treat this as a reference case, not a guaranteed result. Continue to compile and run for the commands and troubleshooting boundary.
